Dezhou is a prefecture and a city in the northwest of Shandong district located north of the Yellow River.

The population of the region is more than 5.4 million with about 500.000 people living downtown. The area is very famous because it has a history of fruit of over 2,000 years.

The huge varieties of fruits, such as watermelon, Chinese pear-leaved crabapple, grape, jujube, persimmon, apple, peach, apricot, hawthorn, pomegranate, mulberry are popular over the whole country.
